#MakeUpMondays// What’s in my Summer Makeup Bag..//

Hello there and welcome back, today I’m gonna be sharing what’s in my summer make up bag and my go to favourite look using all of them products. This is a look that is what I will do all of the time as I know how it wears and how it makes me feel.

First product in the makeup bag is my facial SPF, this is always my last skincare step and first make up step. I will not leave the house without SPF on my face regardless of how long I have to get ready. This is what’s gonna protect my skin from sun damage and is gonna help prep my skin for my look.

The next product I have is the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Primer which blurs the skin, stops shine and also helps the longevity of my makeup which is KEY for summer makeup. I will rub this into my t zone and where my pores are on the middle of my face.

Then I have my foundation which is the MAC Face and Body foundation in C1, this is a gorgeous light coverage foundation which evens out the skin tone and will not only last all day but also wears beautifully so even if it does rub off you can barely notice it. I apply this using my hands to heat up the product and pat into the skin.

I don’t always use concealer but if I do it is the P.S (primark) concealer as it is a medium coverage concealer which blends nicely with my Face and Body foundation. This is great because if I use a full coverage concealer it really stands out and looks odd next to my light coverage concealer. I keep this in my makeup bag for if I have any blemishes I fancy hiding that day but usually I won’t do it.

My next step is to cream bronze, for this I use the Revolution Fast Base Foundation In F14. This is a nice warm shade which can be sheerly applied to the face and will bronze up the skin flawlessly as it is a foundation. I have had this stick for over a year now and I’ve barely made a dint in it which shows the value for money.

I will then cream blush using one of my Colourpop blush Stix (in either Under Pressure, 25/8 or Aloha). I keep all of my blush Stix in my bag as I don’t know which one I am going to decide to use and I love them all so much. I can apply these on top or underneath of my foundation, depending on what type of look I’m going for, and they are so long lasting and beautiful.

My last cream product is my cream highlighter which is my Colourpop Supershock Cheek in either Lunch Money or Flexitarian. Lunch Money is a much more golden/warm shade whereas Flexitarian is a much more white based highlight. I add this with my ring finger onto the high points of my face to blend it in and make it look like a natural sheen.

For my powder face products I have the Revolution Blusher Reloaded in Baked Peach, Fenty Sun Stalk’r Bronzer In Shady Biz and the Fenty Beauty Killawatt Highlighter Duo in Lightening Dust and Fire Crystal. I don’t always use powder products on top of my creams but if I do these are my go to products.

I also have the Lottie London Ready Set Go translucent loose setting power in case I want to powder my face, I will press a very small amount of it onto my t zone using my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. This helps keep my oils at bay and also helps blur my pores. My final step for my base makeup is a setting spray and the one I use the most is the Urban Decay All Nighter, I’ve been using this so much that it is mentioned in My July Favourites! Post.

For my eyes I have the Colourpop Sweet Talk Palette, the Colourpop Creme Liner in Mr Bing and the Covergirl Clump Crusher Mascara. I usually will use one or two Matte shades for the day time and maybe add a shimmer from the sweet talk Palette, then I have been adding a winged liner with the pencil eyeliner and eyeshadow, and finally I add a coat of mascara. It is a very simple eye look which I love as it is quick but effective. For my eyebrows I use the Benefit Gimme Brow in shade 3 brushed through and upwards to create fluffy brows.

For my lips I have multiple options: my first option is an orange/red lip combination which consists of the Rimmel Call Me Crazy Lip Liner, Lime Crime Wet Cherry Gloss in Tangy Cherry and Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Rever (this combo can be seen in My June favourites post) and my second is a nude combination which consists of the Colourpop Just A Tint lip crayons in Z Boys and Rise N Shine and my Fenty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow. All of these products can be used individually or in conjunction with each other.

The tools that I keep in my makeup bag are my P.S eyelash curler, a spoolie for my brows and my Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge. I also use the Blank Canvas F20 foundation brush, Real Techniques 200 Expert Face Brush, Primark 102 Foundation Blending Brush, Real Techniques 400 Blush Brush, Bare Minerals Smoothing Face Brush, Morphe M433, Wet n Wild Crease Brush, SoSu x Keilidh SK07, Colourpop E6 Wing Liner Brush and the BH Cosmetics 7 brush. Another thing I keep in my makeup bag is a clean mascara wand to brush through the lashes and removes any clumps, the one I am using at the moment is the Benefit Bad Gal Bang mascara wand.

That my friends is my full summer makeup bag, now I won’t use every single product every time I do my makeup but these are the products which are the most summer appropriate to me! What are your top summer makeup/beauty products??

Thank you so much for reading today and I hope to see you around these parts again soon!
